
You’ve probably heard it before that you need to eat 6 times a day to keep your metabolism firing and you’ll burn more fat this way, but enough studies have been done now to say that there is no change in fat loss from eating 3 meals a day versus eating 6 meals a day.
That said though in some cases it has been shown that eating more frequently during the day can lead to over eating or cravings to continue eating after consuming a smaller meal when compared to someone who has eaten fewer but larger meals and felt more satisfied.
A better solution for optimal fat loss is to pick a amount of meals that fits with your schedule, will help with compliancy and doesn’t have you trying to smash steak in the car on the way to your next appointment. Don’t over complicate what doesn’t need to be complicated.
